Ever since Tory Burch based her 2018 F/W collection on Lee Radziwill, I feel like I've been seeing the style icon everywhere. The free spirited sister of Jackie Kennedy might just be the new "it" girl which is also something that can be said about her for the last 40 years. Just like her sister, Lee oozed style and her bohemian flair for dressing is just as swoon worthy now as it was back then. She is living proof roof that style can really be timeless and that maybe it's something you are just born with as there is no denying that both sisters seemed to have born with the gene of good taste.
Lee, dubbed a socialite, was also an interior designer and her homes in New York and Paris were featured in publications such as Architectural Digest and Elle Decor. I was looking through old photos of her and it turns out that Lee was essentially the Derek Blasberg of her time as she was friends with Mick Jagger, Andy Warhol and Truman Capote to name a few. Always an original, Lee seemed to follow her own path through multiple continents and marriages which is a sharp contrast to the life her sister led as First Lady. I just ordered this book penned by Lee herself which promises to be a biography of sorts, told though pictures. I'm so interested in learning about the life she led, and for obvious reasons to learn from her incredible style.
Below you will find some great pictures of Lee, and some of my favorite pieces from Tory Burch's upcoming collection based on Lee's luxurious, bohemian style. I'm pretty much obsessed with each and every one of them and if this is any indication of what's to come, it's going to be a very 70's fall. Something that makes me very, very happy! Xx
