That's a wrap... summer 2017 is officially in the books!!! While we have had the most incredible past few months, we all know at some point the party has to stop and this year I was ready! Ready for school, ready for a routine, and really ready to have some quiet time to myself again. Right now the boys are at school and my house is so, so silent, you could probably hear a pin drop and honestly, I am loving every second of it. I'm so behind on client work and clearly I've been neglecting the blog but that all is about to change because THE KIDS ARE BACK IN SCHOOL.
Before we move forward, I always like to give a little look back. Here is a glimpse of what we've been up to the past few weeks, for those of you who would like to see. After Costa, there were trips to Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, the Cape, and lastly California. It was busy, it was fun but just like Dorothy said, there really is no place like home.
Our travels ended last Monday, and within a week we had the most incredible surprise! My niece came a few weeks early and I was so relieved that I was able to be there for her birth. It's so hard for me to write about what that was like without getting super emotional but let's just say it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Seeing someone come into this world who I already love so much was such a gift, and I will never look at my sister the same way- she is a rockstar! As if becoming an auntie for the first time wasn't exciting enough (to a girl no less!) my sister surprised me by making her my namesake, an honor that I promise to live up to every day for the rest of my life.
Here she is, Emerson Robin. Without question the most loved baby in the entire world.
Which brings us to today. Did I mention that the boys are back in school?!?!? Kindergarten and 4th grade aren't going to know what hit them... the Anderson boys are back!!!!!!
There you have it, what we've been up to the past few weeks. Now that I have some free time on my hands I promise not to disappear from the blog again. I have so much I want to write about and quite a few reveals coming your way (including my niece's nursery!) so I hope you will continue to pop in and see what I'm up to. I hope everyone had an incredible summer and for those of you who have kids going back to school- Congratulations!!!! We made it! Xx
