I only have a minute to post after the boys' field day was rescheduled to this afternoon, so I figured this would be a great time to ask you all about something I'm very curious about; Dry Brushing.
Over the last few months I've been seeing articles about the benefits of dry brushing but I never really understood what it was. My first thought was that it would hurt and / or cut the skin, but after reading an article on Goop this morning, I'm thinking that I will give it a try this summer. I'm usually the last to jump on the holistic bandwagon, so of course I'm a little leery, but this one requires minimal time and investment and if what they say is actually true about how it affects your body, then I'm all in.
I'd love to know if any of you are dry brushers and for how long? Does it really affect your body in such a dramatic way or is this a lot of hype? Any brushes you recommend? I would probably go the non-oil route but I'm open to hearing about the benefits of both!
