I just returned from five glorious days at Soho House Miami, and there really is only one word to describe what the Soho experience is like; indulgent. Indulgent in every single way. From the decor, to the food, to the drinks (a bartender actually read my mind and gave me the most delicious cocktail that I've ever had), to the spa, the beach / pool, every single inch of that hotel is perfection. It's corny but when we are there my girlfriend and I actually feel like we are celebrities because really I just never thought I'd ever be in a place where you can live so well. Needless to say, I would be perfectly happy if I only stayed in hotels that are run by Soho for the rest of my life. Luckily, the chain now has 18 locations that span the globe so if I really put my mind to it, that could actually be a possibility. Although, let's be honest, my boys probably wouldn't last a day there! ;)
While we were in Miami I was seeing quite a bit a press in the hotel about their newest edition, the Soho House Barcelona. Ever since I missed out on a trip a few years back with my husband, I have been dying to go to Barcelona and after seeing images from the new space I can say with certainty that this is the only place I would want to say. The entire hotel is so Soho which could pretty much be it's own adjective and I love how this hotel fits in with the other establishments, while retaining its own unique Spanish vibe (those ceiling tiles!!!)
Just take a peek... after seeing these snaps I'm pretty sure this elegant hotel will soon be topping your list as well!
For those of us who are unable to spend our days jetting from hotel to hotel (after last week I'm convinced that there are people who actually do that!!!) it's now possible to bring the Soho house experience to your own home! Soho Home allows you to bring the best that Soho has to offer, delivered directly to your door. The site even allows you to shop each specific hotel which I think is such an amazing idea. It means your vacation never really has to end and what a great way to remember your stay. It also means you don't have to lug items home in your suitcase at the end of your trip. Genius!
I really can't say enough about our experience last week. It was truly one of the best weeks in memory and I wake up every day and try, just for a second, to remember what it was like to wake up in our room. There is no better mood lifter and I have Soho to thank for it! Xx
