On The Market: Marilyn Monroe's Brentwood Home
The other day I saw that Marilyn Monroe's Brentwood home was on the market and I really can't imagine how amazing it would be to own a home with so much history. This is actually the home that Marilyn died in, so there's that, but this is also such an iconic piece of Hollywood history it would be so incredible to be able to make this house your home.
Priced at $6,900,000, this 1929 Spanish hacienda style home boasts 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and besides needing a little facelift the property is actually in pretty incredible shape. You all know that this style of home is my dream and I can't help but think of all the little changes that I would make to add in a little 2017 without loosing all the charm of the 1920's.
A property like this rarely comes on the market so I'm sure this will be snatched up quickly. Let's just all say a little prayer for Marilyn that it's by a family rather than a developer so this historic home will continue to live on for future generations to admire. For those of you who happen to have a few million dollars lying around, you can find the listing agent here. Please just promise that you will have the renovations published over and over so we all can get a little peek at what an updated piece of Hollywood history can be! Xx
