Get The Look: PFW
It's hard to believe it, but Liam and I are off to Paris in just three short weeks. The best part is that he still doesn't know where he's going or when! Admittedly, I am a little more nervous about taking my kids anywhere after what happened in Las Vegas (as in, do they ever actually need to leave the house???) but right now Paris feels like a safe choice.
Last week, my attention was greater than it had ever been for Paris Fashion Week and clearly that's because our trip is so close. For me, packing for a trip like this is like my Super Bowl and Oscars all wrapped into one, and just the idea of getting started makes me giddy. In my real life I really only "dress up" once or twice every month, so you know there are going to be some outfit changes from day and night and there is nothing like a little street style to get that inspiration flowing.
Below, I've rounded up the best street looks from PFW, and provided some links for how to get the look. I tried to take into account all budgets so there are quite a few wallet friendly options as well!
I would be remiss today,l if I didn't also post this link on how to help the victims of Las Vegas, and this article from Everytown.org which outlines the 7 actions you can take to prevent gun violence. The world is such a scary place right now, but it is also filled with so many beautiful things (like fashion and Paris) alongside the evil. I'm trying to find a way to navigate these waters, as all of you are, and I'm honestly not sure how that's done. It's hard to see the violence and devastation that so many are facing right now, but we can't turn away either. Empathy is what makes us human and I encourage everyone to do something kind for someone else today (I plan on trying to donate blood this afternoon). Collectively, we have the power to stop the violence. Together let's take a stand. Xx
