Tomorrow we are heading back to Boston and I really can't convey how devastating it is to type that. It's so hard to go home in the middle of the summer because there really isn't much to go back to. This trip has completely reinforced within all of us that this is where we want to be, and that we want to be here has much as possible. The funny thing is, as much as it pains me to leave this place, I can't even imagine how it would feel if the opposite were true and we only spent few months a year in our beloved Boston. Heartbreaking is the only word that comes to mind, so I guess that means we are doing it right. Still, today we are all definitely feeling a little blue. (Not to mention that we haven't even begun to pack. Eek!)
We land in Boston late tomorrow and then Sunday I am back on the road. Liam, is again going to overnight camp and my reward for the seven hour drive is that I get to spend the week following in NYC staying with my sister-in-law. Unlike last year, where I was flying solo, this year my sister is joining me which means it's going to be twice as much fun. The only plan on the agenda is to eat and drink my way through the city!
As luck would have it, our first week down here my hard drive crashed. I wasn't planning on Blogging from New York so it's as good as time as any to get it repaired. That means I won't be back to the blog until Monday, the 25th. If you'd like to see what I'm up to you can follow me on Instagram where I post pretty regularly. Okay, maybe more than that?? ;)
I wish you all a wonderful July, and hope you can get outdoors as much as possible! Xx- R
