Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and interior design. Hope you have a nice stay!

I'm back from Miami and honestly just typing that makes me want to cry. There are very few words that could sum up our trip but if I were forced to choose one it would have to be indulgent. Every single second was better than I could have ever imagined and our hotel absolutely exceeded my (already high) expectations in every.single.way. I really can't even remember what it is exactly that we did it, was such a whirlwind of pleasure, but I am sure that we ate all the food, we drank all the drinks, and we truly (truly!!!) relaxed. The people watching at our hotel was insane (we even had J Lo sit next to us!) so we spent our days either on the beach or poolside and all the while we were totally pampered by the hotel staff. It really was nothing short of heavenly. Photos were forbidden at the hotel, but I was able to sneak in a few pictures to share with you all (bad girl, I know) so below you can find a little glimpse of the weekend that was.

As if that wasn't exciting enough, I woke up the next day (which just so happened to be my 37th birthday) and found that one of my favorite socialites and Instagrammers, the one and only Derek Blasberg, had snapped a picture of Bee Shaffer (Anna Wintour's daughter) wearing her "Anna" ON Mother's Day. I know, I can't even either. (Okay, I can a little... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

And THEN I closed the day out with this. Truly, the best gift I have ever received are these two guys (even though I sure to like sneaking away to Miami without them ;)).

If there was ever a "dream" few days I just lived them and I really, really, really don't want to wake up! I cannot think of a better way to close out year 36 and start on 37 and if this is any indication of the year I have in store, well,  you can bet I'm more than ready. Xx

P.S. I just wanted to thank you all for your lovely birthday messages that you sent through social media. They absolutely put a smile on my face and I'll never stop being grateful for all the love!
