Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and interior design. Hope you have a nice stay!

Kelly Wearstler for Ann Sacks

It's funny how you can find yourself obsessing about various materials for you home and how that obsession can often change over time. A few years ago it was marble that had me swooning, and then wallpaper, and now it's patterned tile that makes me want to rip out all the fixtures in our bathrooms to start anew. Obviously that's not going to happen, but you can be sure that I'm going to be incorporating a ton of fun tile into the Costa house. So much so that I'm getting a little concerned that my dad is going to hang up on me if I say the word "tile" again. I get it, we should probably nail down the plans first but man, the other is so much for fun!

Anyway, given my love of tile and my ongoing girl crush on Kelly Wearstler (the coolest #bosslady there is) you can imagine how excited I was to find that she was releasing a line with Ann Sacks. We have hand painted Ann Sacks tile in our kitchen and without question it is my favorite feature in our home. Mine has a bohemian flair but if I were to start from scratch I am thinking that I would probably want something a little more organic. Well, it turns out Kelly and I are on the same page (really I just wanted to say that) because while her new line can definitely read "statement" at the same time it is soft and natural. I would sell an organ to swap out the tile for in the boys' bathroom for that navy brushstroke one and the white with the black dots seriously make my heart pitter patter. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to get something this extravagant for our beach house but until I'm told otherwise I'm just going to pretend that my master bathroom is going to be tiled floor to ceiling in one of those moss colored prints. Hey, a girl can always dream and right now my dream just happens to be to have a little (lot) more Kelly in my life!

You can see my favorites from the collection below, and a little videofrom the queen of cool herself. I hope this is just the beginning of this collaboration because this first release is just SO good and I'm left wanting more, more, more!  Xx
